International development agency · Market systems · Zimbabwe
The challenge
The agency was looking for a partner to help them implement a new program to improve the efficiency of rural poor to urban poor markets by bridging information and structural gaps.
Our approach
Selected as the partner to implement the new program. This program involved conducting a marketing scan, developing a business upskill training module, facilitating user testing and rollout of a problem statement-relevant app, and providing technical assistance to small-scale producers, vendors, and transporters.
The results
The program has helped to improve the efficiency of rural poor to urban poor markets in Zimbabwe. This has led to increased income for small-scale producers, vendors, and transporters.
