The challenge

Address limited credit access for agricultural SMEs in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Our approach

Spearheaded a Loan Portfolio Guarantee (LPG) program across 10 countries, de-risking lending for local financial institutions.

The results

Mobilized $57.8M in loans (65% to new clients; 41% women-led), with 9/10 FIs expanding agricultural lending and 5 reducing collateral barriers.
